Fall in the Shop

Fall in the Shop

It's a beautiful fall day and the Shop is filled with the sounds of chant and the glories of the creations of our artists. October is my favorite month for so many reasons. St. Therese's Feast Day, the outdoor colors, but mostly because of the way we begin to tuck back into our homes and get cozy.

Fall means warm throws, decorative accents to your walls or a new cutting board or kitchen apron for the soups, stews, and pumpkin bars that are sure to be prepared.  Add a Happy Harvest candle and a beeswax votive or two for that golden hue. Perfection!

I also love to read more by the fire. The days grow shorter and everyone can snuggle on the sectional with their favorite fall read.  This season it's Joan of Arc by Mark Twain for me as soon as I finish my latest Willa Cather novel.

I hope this fall is full of hayrides, football in the yard, and magical moments in your domestic church.
